In April 2017, Comec participated as technical sponsor in the RECTILATINA meeting that took place in occasion of Automec Exposition in Sao Paulo, Brazil and gathered all Latin American companies operating in the Engine rebuilding industry.
Organized by the International Institute of Mobility (linked to the CONAREM – the Brazilian National Council of Engine rebuilders) with the main topic of “Integration in the Latin American Engine rebuilding against raising technological standards in the world”, the meeting has gathered an increasing number of professionals from different countries, such as Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay around technical presentations, motivational conferences, interactive speaking and a round table on “Future of Engine rebuilding industry in Europe and new technology engines”.
The exposition aimed at promoting a productive discussion on the recent technological progress among the attendees, as well as analyzing how it influences business, thereby enhancing mutual exchanges of ideas and skills, raising awareness on the need to explore new business and cooperation opportunities and strengthening the relationship between the attendees and their suppliers.
Re-inventing the business world, conforming to new standards and growing together with a stronger cooperation among Latin American professionals: these have been the most relevant ideas that stemmed from the meeting.
It has been an important and interesting occasion for our company to share these expertise with the professionals of the grinding sector. Many professionals will take part in the Open House organized by Comec at its headquarters at the end of May, so as to strengthen their fruitful cooperation even further.
We would like to thank and congratulate CONAREM managers and Mr. Omar Ricardo Chehayeb, director of the International Relations Council on the successful outcome of the event.
