The southernmost COMEC machines in the world
One of our principles, here at COMEC, is the importance of keeping a direct and frequent contact with both our worldwide distributors and the private users of our machines.
During a recent trip to Chile we visited several cities, including Punta Arenas, probably the southernmost place in the world where you can find our COMEC machines.

INDUMOTOR - Nello Stefani y Cia Ltda
In 1948, Nello Stefani left his hometown, Bologna - Italy -  and moved to Patagonia. He settled in Punta Arenas in 1954.
Indumotor grinds all types of engines, diesel, petrol, light and heavy and even marine.
The workshop is equipped with modern and cutting-edge machinery, including our COMEC RP330, as well as machines that are more than 80 years old but still perfectly working.

RECTIFICACIONES SIMEONE DRAEGER
This workshop was founded during the '50s by another Italian emigrant, Eduardo Simeone, and carried on first by his brother Pedro and then by Pedro’s son, Mario.
The presence of various machines, among which our COMEC RV516 stands out, makes it autonomous and independent in all phases of engine grinding work.

FRENOS BRISTILO
The owner of this company, specialized in spare parts for brakes and grinding service for drums, discs and flywheels, is Mr. Mario Bristilo.
Among its machines, which deal with all the specific operations, there is also a modern COMEC lathe, model TR470, specific for working on discs.

The region, as well as all of Chile, is served directly by a COMEC distributor, Mr. Mario Jasnis, always available and in touch with customers, providing them not only our machines, but also spare parts and various tools.
