Even though the production of the

manometer, an
ON/OFF switch and an
emergency button, as required by the international safety regulations.
On the left side, there is a
lathe for edge finishing or for material removal operations in case of welding.
A control panel with usual
ON/OFF switches and
emergency button is included on this side, too.
A mandrin rotations regulator and a digital display can also be added on demand.
The
centering occurs through a series of
rings and
universal conical bolts provided in the standard equipment.
To the equipment completion, a
set of jigs and
extention tools is provided in order to facilitate straightening operations, with also a lathing tool and other accessories.

From the technical point of view, the
RSM240 Rim straightening machine and lathe stands out from its many cheaper alternatives, which employ the traditional belt transmission with bullwheels, thanks to the presence of a
high-performing 0.75 kW direct-drive gearmotor that moves the main shaft.
Also, two
thick tapered roller bearings grant a precise rotation of the spindle.
Another feature that deserves highlighting is the main structure, created by using a
solid H-beam – crushproof – rather than common square section tubing, which is more likely to be damaged.
The application field ranges from
13 to 24 inches and it is possible to use it on motorcycle rims, too, thanks to a specific
KCM100 set.
In virtue of these features and thanks to its great versatility, the
RSM240 Rim straightening machine and lathe becomes a proper workbench specific for rim reconditioning.

polishing and
